Lauren Carr, Research Associate
Lauren Carr joined Critical Insights in 2003 and assists with qualitative and
quantitative research assignments.
Ms. Carr is responsible for coordinating focus groups, including assisting
with client management, preparing screening documents and developing discussion
guidelines.
Quantitatively, she provides support to senior management by preparing cross
tabulations and developing reports. Additionally, Ms. Carr supports the
Critical Insights Information Center (CIIC) with the editing, coding
and verification of quantitative data, as well as the preparation of data files
for analysis.
Prior to joining Critical Insights, Ms. Carr was a Statistics Assistant and
Research Assistant for the Psychology Department at the University of Southern
Maine. She was responsible for conducting research projects in conjunction with
psychology department faculty.
Ms. Carr is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Southern Maine,
with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. In addition to being a
George Mitchell Scholar, Ms. Carr received the “Outstanding Senior Award” for
her service and demonstration of leadership to the University of Southern
Maine.
